Hi All,

I am curious to find out if anybody else has had the same problem with Vallejo Acrylics as I have had.

After using enamels for a number of years I decided to change to acrylics for my kit paint schemes and chose Vallejo Air. However over the course of a few months the paint on all the kits has faded drastically. None of the kits have been placed in direct sunlight although the room is well lit with natural sunlight and I wouldn't have thought this to be a problem.

For example on a Tamiya Centaur I finished in a 'Mud Brown' one whole side of the kit is now a 'Sandy White'! And the rest of the paint is bleaching.

While the fading has a pleasing look if you are after a realistic weathering affect, it is frustrating if you have spent time on the kit trying to acheive a specific finish.

Any feedback on how to prevent this happening would be apprecated or if anyone can relate a similiar experience I would like to hear about it.

Thanks,

Austin.
