Hi,

That info on Missing Lynx is useful in that it specifies colors for shells. But not how to reproduce them.

Although I am sure there are several ways to make good looking brass shells, my own method is as follows.

-Airbrush any color gold/brass/copper onto the shells
The base color does not really matter actually.
-After thorough drying (24 hrs min.) take a cotton swab, or a small brush size 1 or 2, with either SnJ Polishing Powder Gold or SnJ Polishing Powder Brass (depending on researched info) and rub it gently onto the airbrushed part until shiny.
-Take care to cover any area not wanted to be covered with the powder; it tends to stick oto anything in your work area and is pretty hard to remove from unwanted parts.
-Do NOT cover with any kind of coating after this !!

The result will be stunning, any plastic and/or resin shells will really look like turned brass shells.
Take a look at my Ready Ammo in the back of the Achilles turret

Greetings
Jerry
