I checked the issue I believe you are inquiring about (Military Modeling 32/3 article "Olive Drab for Modelers by Steve Zaloga" and could not find a direct reference to a brand of paint or color that was for modern type vehicles. The article only compares the various paints to WWII and earlier.

He does give the following FS TTC-595 order:
1/12/1950 od=3412 became FS34087 and gloss and lusterless as 14087 24087.

Then in 1968 changed to 595a was lighter and browner than the same number in 1950 but most companies missed the fact that there is more than one 34087.

Then in 1990 the -4087 were deleted and replaced with 14084and 14088 as per 595B

Not sure if this helps or what you were looking for but all I could find.
