I am doing a North Afrian based Panzer IV, and I want to make the decals look kinda sandblasted off in places. I picked at it with an Xacto on one cross and it didnt have the appearance I was trying to get. I thought I had a bright idea by putting super glue on some sand paper and letting it get tacky and then kinda press and pull peices of the decal off the model. That didnt work at all. It didnt remove any of the decal. The decals are in place and decal set solution was used. Anyone have any ideas on a better way to do this than with a knife?
