Wait...an early Tiger or an Initial Tiger? Both could be dark yellow/mustard/yellow-brown (which ever term you prefer) or dark grey.
I have like a million photos of Initial and Early Production Tigers in the Mediterrranean theater of operations that were painted in dark yellow/mustard/yellow-brown, as well as some nice pictures of Tigers that are in dark gray (some of course with what you said as being drak grey with white bands/clouds) that were on the Eastern front, with some dark yellow, as in reality around that time, the German High Command issued an order to change the paint schemes of their vehicles from the early war dark grey to what most people (in this hobby at least) recognize as like a dark yellow/mustard/yellow-brown color....
"Early Tigers were not painted in the Dark Yellow color until later."
Are you refering to mid and late production models when you say that?
Or are you refering to the actual production run of the Early Tiger? |
