The early tigers before 1943 was painted in dark gray with a whitewash in winter, except in Africa they were painted in dark yellow even before 1943. 1943 onwards they were all painted in dark yellow when they came out of the factory + the camouflage patterns painted in the front.
So i would say all the early and initial tigers were painted in dark grey if they came from factory before 1943, but when the new orders came in 1943, all tanks were re-painted in dark yellow. |
