Hi folks. In an interesting topic on a miniatures/wargame forum (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=47231), I see a statement on "what Tamiya paints are really for airbrushing" that I've seen before on that forum.
Am I completely out of touch, or is this a very different perspective from the large part of the military modelling/IPMS type community? I use Tamiya in my airbrush, but I also use it extensively on my brush brushes...
I consider myself to be a small scale modeller who wargames.
Has the status or the perceived value of Tamiya paints declined over recent years? I always thought they were widely held in high regard in the modelling community as "brushable" paint.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this. |
