Hi Folks,
Just wanna contribute; when the Germens had seized the city of Charchov in 1943, the also ad captured a tank factory (oficially called "tractor factory";
In this factory, the SS re-built and overhauled captured Sovied tanks; among them where quite a number of T34/76 which were rebuild and upgraded to German Standards, i.e. by using cupolas, exterior equipment and - as I do believe - also german radio equipment.
Thos tanks were extensively rebuilt and also re-painted and re-marked to german standards including extra large German crosses and the 3 tone paint scheme.
