Too be honest I haven't seen too many Panthers in the ambush scheme and those which I have all seem to be the scheme with the triangular "dots" made by covering the dark yellow with overlapping circles of green and brown.
I am not that interested in the Panther so I don't have a lot of books so I may have missed other Panthers in the "regular" ambush scheme.
