| Subject: | Best Primer Poll | |

Ok, what is the greatest plastic/PE primer off all time?
I’ve used the spray can primer from Tamiya and had two problems that relate to my using this primer. 1 If I sprayed it from about 150mm I ended up with runs in it. 2 If I moved out a bit further than 150mm the primer was partially “air-drying” before it land resulting in a “sandpaper finish” that was an SOB to rub back.
Next was Game Workshop’s “skull white” primer in a can. This stuff is fantastic (I understand that there was a bad batch a while ago but I’ve never had a problem with it.) and it hugs up so tight when dry that every detail (and fault) is visible. The only down side is the cost, so I’m asking all of you to please assist me in the great primer poll so that I can read the feed back to see what you all use successfully to prime your “multi media” kits.
Thanks in advance, Steve |
