Hi Paul,

I tend to use the stuff and yes it is Toluene. I remember the smell vividly from my days at university and its effects!

You probably know this already - it's nasty stuff, not a million miles away from Benzene which is a known carcinogen (but toluene is not known for that if I remember correctly).

If you buy it, as Kevin mentioned, you might get asked about what you use it for as it can be used to make explosives.

One thing to bare in mind; it's absorbed READILY through the skin so always have gloves on, eye protection and work in a well ventilated area.
