I've found that modelmaster paints only bond fair to plastic, and quite terribly to most resins. Whenever I need to use a modelmaster color for whatever reason, I need to prime under it with another brand paint first... typically Tamiya.
The best way I've found is to use a flat color tamiya first, then the modelmaster paint. Glosses don't work as well for this, the smooth surface doesn't give as good adhesion for the next layer of paint.
