Hi Chris,
Normally when the kit is in sub-assemblies i.e. turret, hull sometimes
with tools, running gear and tracks separate. Normally most tools are fitted and painted in situ. Assemble than weather. It really a case of deciding on a good point in the assembly to stop and paint.
Some will paint with tracks etc fitted (re Steve Zolaga) which I have
also used which gives good results.
I am about to have a go at the 88, I haven't done an artillary piece before so it should be interesting at what point in the assembly to paint etc.
I am normally confined to the study (upstairs). The compressor is banned after 9pm |
