I finally built myself a paint booth. It cost me $70 on the Alaskan economy. It consists of a 1/4" plywood paint box, a bathroom fan, ducting, and a plywood exhaust panel that I cut to fit into a window snugly when I close the window against it.
I paint in the spare bedroom downstairs. I usually paint the model when completely finished except for attaching the wheels and the tracks. I paint them separately and then attach them only when I'm ready to do a final dusting. |
