Hello Mark & All Others,

Mine's a Paasche HS single action.
I am using it for well over 15 years now and I'm very happy with it.
Probably it is because I am lefthanded, but I never feel happy with a double action 'brush.

Provided you got the properly balanced mix of paint/thinner it does pencil-sharp thin lines. And that is good enough for me.
Moreover, the parts that make up the nozzle are much sturdier than those of a double action airbrush with the very sensitive needle etc.so therefore easier and quicker to clean i.m.h.o.

And the after sales service of Paasche is really quite something.
On several occasions they sent me small replacement parts (eg the small securing nut for the nozle tip which is about the only part suffering from wear and tear) completely free of charge.

Getting yourself a new airbrush is not something you should take lightly. Hopefully you can find a shop where they really let you try the thing out before you decide what to buy, rather than just allowing you to gaze (...and guess..) at it.

Happy modelling !
Jerry
