thanks for your feedback Steve,
I guess i should have posted a picture a little more like you did; more true to scale...I think your adventures in oil have paid off nicely. what did you use to paint the jacket? oils as well? I've never gotten around to try them out, main reason is i hear they stink up the house so badly. and the fact that i started painting with acrylics, so in a way they've always been what i consider 'paint'.

maybe i should give oils a try soon, from what i hear the oil-washes are very effective.
