Daniel,

The Future can be sprayed directly without thinning.

For your washes. I use Winton and Newton oil based paints thinned with turpenoid. Usually, if you paint the vehicle with enamel, use a water based wash. If you painted with acrylics then use an oil based wash. However, if you seal the vehicle with Future, I found that you can use either.
