Subject:  Weathering - KV-1 with winter white washList thread.

Hi all, I’m building a KV-1 with a winter camouflage and being as I haven’t got any experience with weathering, I’m not sure what to do next. Over the base coat of Russian Green, I’ve applied the winter camouflage. So now I have a white and green tank. I want it to look worn, but not a worn out. What is the next step ?? Would future/decals/future/wash/matt finish be ok ?? If so, what type of wash would you recommend ?? I’ve read about oil paints thinned with turpentine, would that work ?? Or would the turpentine wipe off the future ?? What colours would you suggest ?? I’ve tried a wash using Tamiya Acrylics, but they dry to fast for my taste.
Thanks for any help.
