| Heck, you guys ought to see the top of my workbench after a weathering session! Tubes of oil paints, enamels, clear flats and glazes, not to mention 36-odd sticks of dry pastels and about every can or bottle of pigments known to man. And, the funny thing is, I use each and every item ... sometimes combining them! I was an art major and was raised with the "no-holds barred" philosophy. My convention is, there is no convention. I refuse to complete a model using the same chronology of methods each and every time. So I still dry-brush, utilize washes, filters, apply wet and dry pigments and pastels, and often work my models over with a dull No. 2 pencil. It's whatever makes me happy and lends me the results I'm after! |
