| You need to establish a good working distance from the model to avoid wasteful overspray and to allow the paint to hit the model wet. This distance is much closer with an airbrush as compared to a spray can. The coverage will be better and the spray better directed. If it's too far away the paint will start to dry before it hits the model and give you a grainy surface. This is especially true with acrylics. Ten ml's of unthinned paint for one model is really a lot of paint. |
