I really appreciate all your input guys. I'm pretty sure that the air pressure is too high as it blasts it out and I have little control (well I don't have much control anyway!).
As I said I'm really happy with the result and the paint's not terribly expensive, but I guess it's just a matter of experimenting with everyone's idea and see what works for me.
I tried thinning with de-ionised water but didn't have much joy. Can I thin acrylics with something like surgical spirit? It's quite a bit cheaper than Tamiya thinner. |
