Some thinning helps Future flatten out better w/o obscuring details and reduces buildup. If you overthin, it can blush a milky white or soften the underlying paint.
Thin with alcohol, denatured ethanol or regular 70% isopropyl, and clean with Windex w/ ammonia. If you're using a brush, follow the Windex with H2O. You can clean with alcohol if the Future hasn't dried out, but the Windex works better.
