I have used Future for years and just thin it with regular tap water. I have had no problems cleaning out my airbrush or with spraying, however, if it is meant ot be thinned with ammonia or alchohol, I will have to give that a shot (pun intended).
Also, I use Windsor and Newton water colors to "tint" my future for use as a wash. It works much better than a plain water-color wash as the future tends to pull the pigments into the cracks and crannies as it dries...very nice effect without the "feathering" of regular water-color. |
