| When I paint a model I mount it on a long bolt then secure that bolt in small vice. That way you can pick up the small vice and turn the model in an angle and can get all the hard to reach spots. Also, I paint in several coats. Starting with a darker gray, then the base color and finally lighter shades of the base color. Doing it that was gives you time between coats to look over the model and check for missed spots which you can get with the second or third coat. |
