Hello pfmann,
I use the spray can version as a primer and the bottled version as a filler
for small gaps. There are two grades, Mr. Surfacer 1000 and 500. Mr.
Surfacer 1000 is generally used for aircraft kits, but I use it as my
primary primer as it is very smooth (I like it better than 500). Mr.
Surfacer 500 is much rougher in consistancy than 1000. But both can be used
for AFV modelling.
I think they are a tad expensive though, for they are imported from Japan.
But heck, they justify their price with performance.
