Trumpeter is making things interesting by trying to match a German cammo color to a British standard (or rather, a standard color from Gunze Sangyo's color line). I strongly suspect that the intended color is RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb ("German Armor Sand" or "Dark Yellow" in most manufacturer's color lines). While my knowledge of German railroad colors is much more limited than armor cammo, my general understanding is that prewar engines were black with red running gear, and early war engines were RAL 7011 Eisengrau through 1942. When camouflage against air attack became important, the Wehrmacht colors were already in mass production, so I am inclined to suspect that the Reichsbahn used what was already in production rather than some custom color of their own (though I suppose anything is possible).
