Hmmm... I see what you are saying!
Interesting to note the front spare tracks on the hull of the PAnzer lowest in the photo. Do you see where there is a huge patch of irregular color? Greenish or just basically off color? It looks like the slide has patches of discoloration throughtout. Patches of desaturation or loss of a color layer in the emulsion of old film would produce these patches. Perhaps the "camo" pattern could be explained by that?
Sounds far fetched I know. We may have a legitimate mystery on our hands. Finding the real source of this photo mught help: as in who shot it, when, is it in an archive somewhere? |
