I am currently building a StuG III F/8 with Ostketten, and would like to
display a vehicle being used in the retake of Charkov, february/march
1943. At that time the yellow colour was introduced, replacing the
panzergrey. A 'typical' StuG F/8 in that area at that time would however
still be panzergrey with a whitewash, I assume. I have some pictures of
StuG F/8, but none of one during the Charkov retake, being grey/white
plus ostketten.
My question: has anybody information about the units involved in the
retake; which StuG battalions were there and had grey/white StuG F/8's?
