Apart from the usual caveat that Soviet attrition rates, particularly of armour, tended to be pretty high, so don't expect most of it to have much chipping at all, much the same applies as with other nations' equipment. The paint would be applied over a thin coat of primer and the exposed metal below that tends to weather to a dark brown, so something like burnt umber would probably be a good bet.
