Sorry guys, just noticed this thread. Hamilton Model Works sells 40 link per inch chain. Its black, but scrutinizing photos of tanks show they are normally painted with the rest of the machine during final assembly. I'd say paint it while in the finishing stage but use lighter "mist" coats if you still want the chain to swing. A black or even more a shiney silver chain sure would defeate the idea of camo, make nothing but an aiming point.....LOL
