Hello
I am building a DML 251 and am up to the gloss stage. Now this is one of my first models that I am tkaing the time with gloss coats and washes etc.
I am having some difficulty spraying Tamiya Gloss, getting a pebbly uniform finish that isn't very glossy. The gloss also seemed to eat the paint (tamiya acrylic) off the high points like boltheads.
I am thinning the gloss at 50-50 with thinner spraying at 20 psi with a number 5 needle in a Paasche VL. The gloss looks great when I first spray it but then it dries to a pebbly almost matt finish.
I sprayed approx 3 coats with a few minutes interval
Any tips for this one guys?
