Future will soon be selling in hobby stores at a highly inflated price with all our touting, but it does work great. I wouldnt worry too much about the pebbled surface the Tamiya clear left, a coat or two of future should level it out. If for some reason you decide to thin the Future, I find that distilled water works best for acrylic finishes, and on enamel or laquir you can thin it with windex. I have also experimented with adding plain old babypowder to the future to produce a flat finish. The results were decent but be careful, if you add too much the babypowder tends to gather arond bolts and crevaces. Makes a good way to model a little fresh snow though, as my Stug IV wound up like that. At first I was upset, then I realized it took on the look of a fresh snowfall.

HTH,

Clair
