Bill,
Whether it be Mr. Surfacer 500, 1000 or 1200 I absolutely swear by this stuff! I have found a multitude of uses for it, in all phases of my modeling! Alot of people have the misconception that it is merely a form of liquified putty ... and to some extent they are correct. But after you realize how valuable it is you'll always have a bottle or two on your workbench. I have an article in an upcoming issue of FineScale Modeler that defines no less than half-a-dozen different uses for Mr. Surfacer as it relates to armor modeling such as replicating both rolled and cast armor surfaces, rust, mud and not to mention a filler and an overall primer.
