Brian (or anyone else):
May I infer that you've used an Airbrush City compressor and are happy with it? I ask because I'm a novice looking for my first compressor (I've sunk $40-50 into cans of compressed air already and I need to suck up the cost of a compressor and cut my losses on this soon). Since I don't know nuttin' 'bout nuttin' when it comes to compressors, my first inclination is to stick with one of the big name brands (Iwata SmartJet, Badger Cylone, etc), however I know that one pays a premium for this brand recognition. Do these "no names" function just as well, but at an (obviously) reduced cost? I mean neither to highjack the original thread nor to start a "what should I buy thread," but I would love to hear someone's experiences with these Airbrush City compressors. More generally, recommendations for cheapest reasonable entry point would also be welcome (though I want to pay no more than I have to get something appropriate, I don't want to spend too little and get something that I'm not happy with). As a lost newbie, I would appreciate any input,
