Why do you say "most " StuG at that time were delivered in yellow? I have
seen photos of both yellow and grey bases on G, F and F/8. What are the
page numbers for the photos from the books you citied with F/8's with yellow
bases and whitewash in thewinter of 42/43?
A lot of the yellow bases I've seen were for vehicles originally intended
for Africa (one well photographed batch of F) or had been repainted in the
summer of 43.
