I thought it would be informative to talk about what paints we like to use. I found the topic about Gunze paints and Tamiya Flat Base very informative (just below).
I used to use either Humbrol or Xtracolour thinned with lacquer thinner for airbrushing with either a Paasche single or double action airbrush. I got good results. However I am sick (literally and figuratively) of the fumes. So... I am planning on starting to use Gunze acrylics.
I have heard good things about Gunze... any tips specific to them?
So what paints, thinners, etc. does everyone use?
Any other good painting tips?
