Hi,
Rubbing alcohol, when I migrated to Australia, I barely knew every word. In Argentina we usually call it "alcohol", I mean, the one you use to disinfect a wound or a minor cut. That's why they call it "rubbing alcohol" There is also something like methanol, a commercial type. You would normally find them in stores that seel tools or paints. The alcohol intended for wound is found on pharmacies or chemists.
