For Airbrushing, I mostly use Polly Scale Acrylics (about 70% of the time) and the remaining are Tamiya and ModelMaster Acryl Acrylics. I cut/thin Polly Scale with Distilled Water (about 25%), Tamiya with Lacquer Thinner (usually 70-75%), and leave the MM Acryl colors alone.
For Handpainting small stuff, I use Vallejo Acrylics. When needed, I thin with Distilled Water and cleanup the brushes with Ammonia.
I'm using an Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS, Badger 150, and both Paasche VL and H Airbrushes with a quick-connect on the regulator and on the end of each hose. For cleaning all the Airbrushes, I keep a paint jar of Lacquer Thinner and backflush them after use. I rarely have to disassemble them for cleaning - unless I make a mistake and thin Polly Scale with something other than their thinner or Distilled Water.
