I was inside Bovington's Crab a few yaers back and the original parts are white (with stencilling) but the driver's compartment, where the PTO comes off the drive shaft to the flail drive, was silver. My conclusion was that the British had applied the silver where the repainting was necessary after the mods but that the rest was left as was.
Anyway, the US ones were indeed white although I think the floors were OD. |
