Hi Bret,
I use an Eclipse HP-CS & have found it to be the best airbrush for general spraying tasks I've ever used - good choice. I don't have the Iwata compressor myself, but have heard only good reports from friends who do use them.
Re: your mains voltage question, you say you are currently stationed in the UK (serviceman?) so my suggestion would be that you buy from an online retailer in the UK like airbrushes.com or cammett.co.uk. Both these companies would be able to advise you on any measures you need to take re: other mains voltages, as they sell worldwide. If you buy from airbrushes.com (I bought my Eclipse from them) they can also give instruction from a professional airbrush artist in how to use it. E-mail either company with your requirements & I'm sure they would be happy to help.

Hope this helps you out,
Chris.
