The Tamiya Steyr box (no.35225) side panel has an interesting scheme of dark grey with dark yellow (I assume) blotches, they look brush painted. The unit is stated as "22nd Infantry Div., Russia, 1942."
Is this accurate? What photograph did Tamiya base this one?
Isn't this a bit early for dark yellow, so could it be either mud, some Luftwaffe colour or something else?
