Sinai gray is one of those colors that seems to look different in every picture that you see. I think a lot of it is because of the harsh conditions the Israeli vehicles are exposed to, and the lighting in the desert if frequently tinged by the dust and sand in the air. And who knows, maybe the batches that they used, like most paints, were a little different one to the next. My mixture for Sinai gray starts with Tamiya Buff and adds a little field grey until it matches a given vehicle.Maybe just a touch of black to darken it, but just a small drop. Polly Scale makes a color called Old Concrete that is a good basis as well if that is your paint of choice. Basically start with a greyish tan (not pinkish tan) and add a greyish green (like field grey) to suit your taste. Like most colors, an exact match out of the bottle is probably not possible or necesary, as in real life application techniques and weathering will make the color quite variable.
