The Perfect Panzer finishing techniques are printed in the back of Armour
Modelling as a monthly column. Each installment deals with a different aspect.
In general, he uses ground pastel chalks mixed with Tamiya thinner (I use
rubbing/isopropryl alcohol) and sometimes Tamiya gloss to make washes, mud,
etc. Ground pastels mixed with more or less thinner and/or gloss can be used
like paint for spot washes, oil stains, rust streaks, paint chips, etc. |
