I dont know if thats a good idea Scott, the properties of house paint are much different. I'm sure you would thin it, but house paint tends to fill in little divits and holes in walls, so I would worry about it making detail obscure. Maybe try it out on an old junk model before using it on the latest masterpiece. Just my thoughts on it.
