Scott,

I have used some house paint before on modeling projects but only by mixing some with plaster to color some ground work. I think you will find that house paint will just not thin out enough to airbrush, the binder is very thick, I would think that once you got it thin enough to spray you'd have a watery mess that would have no tooth. I'd be very reluctant to put it in any of my airbrushes.
