You can get pretty fine with the Paasche and a No 1 point. Although I can't personally do any real fine detail camo in 1/285 scale I can get a fine enough line to "fake it" at that scale. The PZ III in the attached picture is about the size of your thumbnail. The Paasche is easy to use and forgiving. I really like mine. You can free hand most 1/35 scale soft edge camo work with them.
