I had been meaning to find some Turpenoid for use in washes as I had heard that it would not attack the base coat like other thinners can. Finally located the product and tried it today. It seems quite incompatible with the Model Master enamel I tried. It actually seemed to solidify the paint into flakes without ever mixing. At this point I switched back to mineral spirits which worked fine.
Perhaps I have misapplied the product? Can anyone make sense of this? Any advice is appreciated.
