Shum,
I suspect it may be the humidity. Try placing your model on a piece of cardboard and put it in the oven. Put the rack in the middle and set it to bake for about an hour or so. Check it every so often to make sure things aren't melting! Oh yeah, set the oven temp to around 125-150 degrees F. The 0% humidity in the oven may do the trick.
