| I use the oven cleaner, it works very well but be mindfull of the fumes. I've noticed little or no effect on the plastic but it can effect weak glue joints, so watch out for the small details when washing it off. How long to leave it can depend on the age and type of paint. If it's fairly fresh, then it only needs 1 or 2 hours. For older, more dried out paint, I'll leave it on for up to 24 hours but usually less. |
