I guess that would be up to you and what techniques you use and are good at using.
primer coat, pre-shading, base coat, air brush weathering, filters, pin washes, chipping, pastels, pigments....pretty standard for all AFV models.
It all comes down to what you want to do.
Look at other finished UN AFV projects and see what catches your eye.
Look at real images of the Sagaie in Bosnia and they vary in weathering from very clean to very dirty while they were in Bosnia.
I have built a few UN vehicles in white and I always refer to reference images.
Look at Corbis.com and Getty Images....they have tons of images of the UN Sagaie in Bosnia....search for bosnia, armored, sarajevo, UN, french...and other search words and be prepared to look through lots of photos and spend some time doing it.
I have the 1/35 ADV/Azimut Sagaie and have been wanting to build it for years in UN colours. |
